We are now off air after our latest broadcast in November 2009, our most ambitious and successful project yet, live from the Kingfisher on FM!

Station Manager Chris Gray: “We couldn’t wait for this broadcast and it has been a resounding success, on and off air. Being housed in Evesham Walk in The Kingfisher Centre has been superb as everyone can see us on air and what we are doing, and we have been very pro-active in the community, involved with the local music and sports scene”.

Mr Gray: “We all know that Redditch is brimming with local stories and characters and we are pleased to give everyone some airtime. This is our fourth broadcast from the heart of the town. With our experience of radio in Redditch and elsewhere, mixed with our teams’ enthusiasm to provide unrivalled local coverage, we are the obvious choice to bring a full-time station to the town.”

Radio Redditch Director Rob Ison added ‘I would like to thank not only the team who have worked tirelessly behind the scenes to bring to fruition this our most successful broadcast yet but also the public for their overwhelming support for this project’.

When the airwaves fall silent at midnight on Monday, 30th November, the focus once again turns to working to secure a full time license for the area. The Stations’ management have already provided a full-time service to Kidderminster and Wyre Forest, and now hope to do the same in Redditch. Thanks for all your support!

Why Are We Here?

The aim of Radio Redditch is to win a permanent community radio licence to broadcast full time across the Redditch area. We believe that Redditch has a lack of choice for you, the listener and also local advertisers.

We want to change that and offer an informative, entertaining station for the 25-54 year old market primarily with a mix of local and national news and information plus great music from the last five decades as well as the best of today!
